What is screamo music called

Plus it takes some large amounts of skill to be able to play the songs and come up with the lyrics that just mean sooo much to some people.

Music is music. Its all subjective. I like metal but i can't handle screamo - but some people like it so good for them! I just started listening to some metal and you know what? Its not that bad. I just thought it was pointless and stupid before but its not, its got some pace and is an acquired taste and i actually watched an entire metal concert today on the internet without cringing!

Its actually not bad. It just takes some time. I don't know if you know a difference between screamo and metal. Screamo is not my kind of music, but i love death metal. Somebody that doesn't know a difference just call both screamo. There is a difference though. And i listen to it because it's awesome. It's so energetic. The concerts are awesome as well, the music's loud and crushing and the people in the pit usually go crazy, so they are just all around fun. Screamo is trash.

Of course you have the rather butt-hurt fanboys who come here to offer their utterly useless opinions. But this question itself sort of answers itself. Most fans of screamo are solely doing it to attract this sort of attention. They want you to ponder to yourself as to why anyone would enjoy such garbage. A distress call, if you will. It could also be related to the same psychological foundations that reinforce things like hoarding.

They believe that this trash has some sort of intrinsic value, regardless of the fact that is obviously doesn t. It all sounds the same, there is absolutely no creativity to it whatsoever. Regardless of what these desperate for attention asshole think, it s absolute rubbish. The link of the song you posted is Metalcore, first of all. You don't have very trained ears to understand guitars, drums, etc to believe that all the songs sound the same.

News flash, they don't, at all, whatsoever. Stop listening to the droll on the radio and pop boy bands if you want a deeper, more complex understanding of music. I dont mind screamed vocals as long as there is singing in the song as well to balance it out. When it is used for short parts of songs its effective cos it emphasises that particular part and gives it more power.
