Kindness is also considered as a virtue. There are various ways to practice kindness. Kind words, a smile, opening a door for someone, helping someone to carry a heavy load and consoling someone who is grieving, etc. In other words, there is a genuine intention and willingness to help another behind a truly kind act. However, this is not true as being kind takes real courage and strength.
A generous person is happy to give time, money, food, or kindness to people in need, without expecting anything return. We also consider generosity a virtue. It is practiced and encouraged in most cultures and religions around the world. Generosity can also refer to charity and involves offering aid, time or talent to aid people in need. On that final note I suggest you check out the song "if everyone cared" by nickleback and take a few minutes to watch the video that was made to this song in reaction to the shooting at Virginia tech.
